Need a burner email?
A burner email is a throwaway address you use once, the same idea as a burner phone. It's the safer way to hand out an email when you don't want a stranger, a form, or a mailing list holding on to your real one.

What is a burner email used for?
Dating apps, marketplace or classifieds listings, forums, or anywhere you want a reply without tying it to your real, long-term address.
Does a burner email actually receive real messages?
Yes — it's a real, working inbox for as long as it's active, so replies genuinely arrive, unlike a made-up address that just bounces.
How long does a burner email stay active?
You choose: anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Once that time is up, the address and anything it received are deleted for good.
